In a world of growing darkness, one man...

and some other men...

will embark on an epic quest.

They will explore perilous locations...

encounter mysterious people...

face formidable challenges...

and fight perilously mysterious and formidable foes...

as they seek to find the most precious of artifacts...

From the creator of Monty Python and the Defenders of the Realm, Monty Python and the Holy Grail: The Living Card Game, and the Tom Vasel Top 100 Theme Song...

comes a new experience unlike any other (except for the ones mentioned just above):

Mage Knights of the Round Table

I'm guessing with the black knight, you have to defeat him twice? once at full strength and then again at "half strength"?

...genius!

Yeah, I figured I'd adapt one of the new Lost Legion abilities for that. He is formidable to begin with, but not so much after losing his limbs, though he's very tenacious, so you still have to deal with him.

I'm not sure what the "foot" ability will actually be, though. Any ideas?

Someone mentioned having mana be Spam. Good idea, though I did have a way to include Spam otherwise, as a healing/movement element that you can collect when visiting Camelot (one of the revealed cities).

Btw, in case it isn't obvious from the preview, this is something I'm making with the intention to be a fully playable scenario/expansion. I have some of the rest of it worked out in my mind for now... just need some time to get it worked out. But suggestions are very welcome, and stay tuned if you want to check out the final version.

Will you be pythonizing the box again as well? That was my favorite bit from your Lord Of The Rings effort.

Coconut skill for two extra MP per turn?
We have to find a way to get a sheep's bladder to interact with the Tremor spell.

A Fart In Your General Direction Advanced Action?
A French Taunting advanced action.

the french are an enemy unit, fortified garrison troop. how dare you imply that the player would use a french troop or ability in combat.

The giant wooden Rabbit would either be an ally or an artifact.

Another location...

And a few more cards for King Arthur's deed deck...

I'm trying to make every card unique from the actual published versions, just for the sake of having a little variety, though obviously these are very close to their counterparts.

Coming soon... The Knights Who Say "Ni!" and The Black Beast of "Aaarrrggghh!"

In case anybody is actually following this, I am still working on it... Been busy traveling and haven't had time to do card mockups, but it is nearing completion (well, before some playtesting).

I did change how some of the locations work... Instead of "the green city is the Castle Anthrax" kind of thing, now there is a deck of "encounters," and when you explore a new tile, you draw the top Encounter card. If the tile includes a location referenced on the card, then that comes into play, otherwise you draw another card and see if something matches. For example, you explore and draw an Encounter card for Castle Anthrax, which has a Keep symbol. If the tile you explored has a Keep, then that is the Castle Anthrax and it has an effect. I like the way that works, even though not every special location or character (Black Knight, etc.) will necessarily come up in the game. Previously, I was trying a little too hard to sort of follow the narrative of the movie, which is silly, really, because in the movie they're all mostly scattered, random encounters, anyway.

There's also an option now to be able to play without printing any cards, using certain Advanced Action cards to represent Sir Lancelot, Sir Robin, etc.

I'd like to submit this for the custom scenario contest, so expect something to be ready by that deadline.

How can you buy any units in Camelot, if you can't end your turn there?
