The cheat codes are very flexible, but here is the suggested use:
USING CHEAT CODES
Shuffle the Cheat Codes. Draw 2 Cards per player and place the drawn Cards face up, off to the side of the playing surface, in view of all players.
During a player's turn, he may obtain a Cheat Code by removing Enemy Cards in his Score Pile from the game. He must remove Enemies that have all of the Cheat icons shown at the bottom of the Cheat Code, in order to obtain it. The Enemies that were removed from the game are no longer able to be scored.
The player will immediately place the Cheat Code on top of his Player # Card, enabling the ability shown on the Cheat Code.
The ability may be used each turn, as long as the Cheat Code is in play. It will remain in play until the owner obtains a new Cheat Code, or another player Steals it.
If a player obtains a second Cheat Code, it will immediately replace the first. The first is removed from the game.
STEALING A CHEAT CODE
If you are going to cheat, you might as well steal.
Any player, during his own turn, may Steal a Cheat Code that is in use by another player. He must remove Enemy Cards from his own Score Pile from the game to match all of the icons on the bottom of the Cheat Code.
He will immediately take the Cheat Code and place it on top of his own Player # Card, enabling the ability shown on the card.
Just like the standard Pixel Lincoln game, you can modify the experience in any way that you would like. Cheat Codes could be used as secret agenda cards by dealing one to each player before the game starts. Then halfway through the game, reveal the Cheat Code, remove the Enemy Cards from the game, and destroy your opponents. It's your game, have fun with it.
