Hello! Last night we played our first game to "Colonial: ..." and we enjoyed a lot. It´s a terrific game with a fantastic exploration flavour.

We also have one question about the mechanic of trader /merchant. Two players made an agreement consisting on exchange the goods of each one to get double benefits for every trader /merchant action. For example: Yellow has 3 colonies with 3 resources and red has another 3. With every merchant action, each one took the goods of the other player in order to gain 3 aditional treasures. And they repeated the strategy with the trader. Is that agreement legal? For the rest of us, it´s seemed to powerful because they earned a lot of money and the bloomed city seemed quite weak in comparison. We were thinking that it should be forbiden to trade with other players resources until you have trade your own goods to avoid this action, but we are not sure about it, we don´t know what to do.

"Is that agreement legal?"

Yes it is. You can change it if you don't like it, of course. It is there to give an (strong) advantage to alliances. It also speeds up the game, which is good. But it can piss you off when you are ou of it yuk.

Merry Christmas man.
You posted under a Colonial presentation video
"Would have loved this to have had a random modular board."
I had a good laugh, thank you.
The rules are available under the file section.
