I'm really close to convincing myself to run an auction but then comes the work of shipping. So what is the best way to go about moving a bunch of games to new homes.

Flat rate boxes from USPS make things easy for a lot of games.

You'll likely get higher bids from nearby buyers (approx. 500 mile radius) if you have boxes on hand to ship by weight - and say in your header that you'll ship either by weight or flat rate depending on what's cheapest.

I just took a look at usps flat rate boxes here.
https://store.usps.com/store/browse/subcategory.jsp?category...
It looks like they do not have a size for the bigger boxes like avalon hill games that are 16x11x3.5
I think I'll start collecting up some boxes and have everything ready to go to do them by weight.

Just so you know, if you do have any of the typical square shaped games (like Ticket to Ride) those will fit inside a medium flat rate box.

If you're near the twin cities maybe a no-ship auction with reserves that will make you comfortable.
