Hopefully reaching new stretch goals builds momentum, and more and more people sign up for this kickstarter to get the exclusive goodies!

The Coat of Arms of Clan Montgomery - Scotland. Yes, that's a woman with the head of a savage in her hand, and an anchor. No clue what it means, but it's cool.

Yeah, I think all the negativity here on the 'Geek has killed any chance of hitting $400K, but $200K is possible. So I'm +1 with your sentiments.

Sorry, didn't mean to interrupt your spam breakfast (which pretty much seemed to be the point of this new thread) with a glass of reality.

Carry on with your advertising. goo

You really think BGG is that influential? I don't think we're as important as we think we are. Could be wrong though.

I think it will definitely hit $200k. There are just too many people out there that want this game to be a reality. If Ogre can get over $900k, then Up Front should make the hardcover stretch.

Did you see the spike on KS when Valley Games/Rik released that press statement? I think you might be surprised!

I for one demand a new thread every time a new stretch goal is achieved, and then several separate follow up threads to discuss the pros and cons of the new army that just joined the fray.

Who's geeky enough to be searching through Kickstarter for new board/card games to back but doesn't visit the Geek?

BTW, Matt, the answer to your question on the KS is that the Airborne pack includes soldier cards from the four nationalities and forces shown (Brits, Canadians, Germans and Yank airborne units = 150 cards!), as well as the AiYP crossover stuff.

So, in other words, will it be a complete airborne expansion to the system? I would love to see scenarios associated with them as well.

Will the AIYP tie into a solitaire game? or is something else planned?

That would be a pleasant surprise. I'm going to order something but still trying to figure out where in the $40-125 spectrum I will end up. I have all 3 original modules so I am not looking forward to doing the boardgame equivalent of DVD-to-BluRay upgrade. But it sounds like the relative range distance has changed (lower number being closer vs farther). I'm waiting to see more info on ruleset compatibility; I've been too lazy/busy to read it all, especially when the legal eagle types feel the need to threadcrap everywhere.

This thread had the best summary of the rule changes I've seen so far.

It is closer to a VHS-to-BluRay upgrade
