Is there a reason to place KO tokens on the map in the basic game?
I can't find an effect for it, neither on movement nor on combat.
(Whereas I do find effects of a BU token both on combat and movement.)

KO tokens negate road movement to vehicles. Must use cross country speed.

Ah, thanks again, man.

But is that it? So if a tank gets busted out anywhere but on a road, why bother with a KO token?
(Now keep in mind I haven't read the advanced rules yet...)

At this point, I'm not sure, but I think you can shoot at a KO vehicle to convert it to a burning wreck (BU) and generate a smoke column

All right, I'll look into it.
Maybe I'll come across this on my way to Advanced Game enlightenment.

Thanks!

In the advanced rules I find it helpful to work out what your command points are reduced to (they go down as you sustain casualties). Easier to count what you've lost than what is still on the board. Until it's easier to count what's left but hey you've probably lost at that point anyway
