My comment on Kickstarter:

Quote:
Can we have a Zombies expansion? From my research of dozens of videogame war simulations, Zombies were one of the main combatants in WW2.
Not to mention that we would be opening up to the ameritrash crowd!

Rik's answer:

Quote:
Christian - But of course! They are being worked on currently.

Anyone else excited about hordes of nazi zombies overrunning your prepared defences? Blowing up undead caught in wire to bits with direct mortar hits? Sherman tanks getting bogged with severed limbs throwing out their tracks? Figuring out how many ATR hits would take down a walking dead?

Can Up Front transcend genres and become an ameritrash classic?

One last tour here on the Death Star and I can retire. What was that noise?!

And next, Up Front: My Little Pony. I actually would rather see that than zombies.

I believe they're preparing to launch their Zombie in your Pocket KS campaign, hence the hint. They offered a crossover expansion with their Airborne in Your Pocket campaign earlier in the year, it's likely they're examining the same possibility with Up Front.

I have seen STAR WARS Up Front (Clones vs. Droids) and Godzilla Up Front. So why not?

Have you got the links or files for these you could share?

Not to be a smarta$$, but with each thread there is a 'subscribe' button at the top. One of the options there is 'block'. You can block individual threads and still be subscribed to the game in general.

The first time a KS thread pops up, block it and it's done.

Sorry if this offends anyone, just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the info. I don't have a problem with this thread, but the block option will come in handy for some others I'm getting.

Zombie and Pony expansions. Reanimated corpses verses the power of friendship, that would be Epic.

Didn't the SS have a battalion of werewolves? I think that its commander may have beem a vampire. Maybe the $500K stretch goal.

WANT!

But seriously, I'd be happy with, I don't know, the USMC deck maybe? Zombies are cool and all, I'm completely down the the Zed-heads (but not World War Z the movie, that pile of ass can go suck a bag of dicks) and zombies and werewolves, but lets get the people who were actually there in, first!

I see no harm in having Zombies (and Werewolves) once all the other nationality decks are taken care of.

I'd rather see more scenarios and special scenario related cards, maybe civilians you have to protect or documents you have to escape with.

How would battle droids work in Up Front? As far as I can tell, their tactics involved walking toward the enemy in neatly spaced ranks and saying "Roger, roger!"
