If needed, before creating the game listing, you can add yourself to the BGG database as a designer: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/item/create/boardgameperson

If the game is being published under a publisher's brand and not your own name, you can also create a publisher listing: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/item/create/boardgamepublisher

Ideally you submit all of these together, with the designer and publisher linked to the game submission so that we admins can see everything at once in the submission queue. Thanks!

here is the note I send about linking submissions

Quote:
fyi:

when submitting games to the Geek (or VGG Hardware)
* submit any needed people and companies first
* wait a few minutes for the cache to catch up

then when you submit the game, you can link any pending people or company submissions

we see these links with pending next to them

we do not approve people or company submissions until
they have a linked and approved database entry

after the game is approved different admins approve the people and company submissions
... these approvals are not done simultaneously with the database approvals
... I have been working the company queue for all three domains
in addition to approving most RPGG submissions

On a note, you might want to use a middle initial or name as there is already a Sean McDonald who designed Pastiche.

Let's hope his parents thought to gift him with one that he can use
