Apologies if this is the wrong place, but I needed to get this out of my brain.

Murder Hall!
A game of mystery and murder for 4 players.

What you will need:
A standard deck of playing cards, with 2 jokers
Exactly 4 players


How to win:
To win you need to score 13 points before any other player. You will do this by winning a number of rounds.


How to start a round:
Sit the Aces and Kings aside. Deal each player a hand of 7 cards. Deal each player one of the 4 kings. NOTE: Protect the identity of which king you are holding, it is your biggest secret. Shuffle the aces, and reveal one. Keep this ace shown for the entire hand. If the ace shown matches your king, then you are this rounds killer [hide this fact]! Everyone puts one card in each other players pass stack.
Continue dealing cards until the deck runs out. (2 players will have 1 more card. This is fine.) The player just to the dealers left goes first, and play proceeds clockwise.


Normal cards:
On your turn, shuffle your pass stack and put it in your hand. Then reveal one card from your hand, causing its effect, as below. (Each card when used, will leave your hand by being passed. When told to pass cards, put them in someone's pass stack.)

2: Pass 2! Reveal to force everyone to pass 2 (You must pass this card among your cards)
3: Pass 3! Reveal to force everyone to pass 3 (You must pass this card among your cards)
4: Pass 4! Reveal to force everyone to pass 4 (You must pass this card among your cards)
5: Snipe! Reveal to force chosen player to give you chosen card, if they have it (Pass this card and one other)
6: Spy! Reveal to force target player to show you 3 cards from their hand [their choice] (Pass this card and one other)
7: Heal! Reveal to return any one card from your facedown to your hand (Pass this card and one other)
8: Shield! Reveal to negate all strikes on you that turn (Pass this card and one other)
9: Bide! Reveal to do nothing (Pass this card)
10: Study! Reveal to force target player to show you all of their facedown cards (Pass this card)


Strike cards:
If a Strike card is in your pass stack, you have been attacked! Unless you are going to Shield with an 8 that turn, you must announce and suffer the attack as below [do not reveal them] (You still put the strike card in your hand afterward) [You can not put Strike cards or your king facedown, and you can look at your own facedown cards at anytime.]

J: Strike! Place any one card of the suit of the Jack facedown on the table
Q: Strike! Place any 2 cards of the suit of the Queen from your hand facedown on table
Joker: Bomb Strike! Place any 1 card from your hand facedown on table, each player sitting next to you must do the same


How to end a round:
If, at any time, you have 4 cards of the same suit facedown, call the end of hand. Reveal the 4 cards, and your king. Everyone else reveals their king. Someone scores points as follows:

If the four cards are of your suit, and you are not the killer, you have escaped! Score 3 points.
If the four cards are not of your suit, and you are not the killer, you have been killed! The killer scores 2 points.
If the four cards are not of your suit, and you are the killer, you have been caught! Everyone else scores 1 point.
If the four cards are of your suit, and you are the killer, you slipped away at the last second! You score 1 point.
