Does anyone know the weight of "dobutsu shogi in the greenwood"?

http://www.gamers-jp.com/japonbrand/games/dobutsushogiintheg...

[Edit: I started filling out Rakuten forms, but stopped when I became uneasy (partly to do with the English pages having lots of Japanese text). Later I came across postings saying that Rakuten in the past sold customer credit card and other details. Not sure how accurate those postings were, but am not keen enough to take risks. I prefer shops to use PayPal. So I've changed the url that points to an image of the game.]

There's list of shipping prices, but I don't know the weight of the game.

Alternatively, does anyone know where in Chiba prefecture this can be bought? I have a friend travelling to Melbourne from Chiba (on 2012 Dec 21).

[btw I already have a nice traditional set. I've always wanted a Western set as well, and I don't think I'm going to find anything cuter ]

If your friend is departing via Narita Airport, there is a souvenir store in the airport emporium that sells Dobutsu Shogi. I'm just not sure if they sell that particular full version you're looking for, the one I bought was a 4x5 magnetic travel edition.

According to this online shop, it's 490 grams:

I don't suppose you remember the name or appearance of the souvenir store? I looked at the Narita Aiport site, and found:

Fa-So-La Toy Box

There was another toy shop, but it seemed to specialise in Hello Kitty products.

I probably won't ask Chris to hunt thru Narita for me. He's too nice and obliging. I must be responsible, and make things as easy as possible. I'm thinking I'll order online; make things very easy for him

Sorry I don't. It was a shop in the emporium in the public area before going through the immigration gates. It sold a lot of various toys, games and magic trick stuff.

That prunes the search space nicely - thanks

I don't recall if I saw that particular edition you mentioned though.

For what it's worth, I've had good success with Nekomado, that I linked to with the weight. I'm pretty sure they took PayPal.

Chris said "that shop has a massive version in Tokyo so will make a note to go before departure". Hopefully the larger version of the game will be in the larger shop

Dobutsu Shogi in the Greenwood: acquired (awaiting pick up when I visit Chris in July, unless I ask him to post it). Thank you Chromatic Dragon and Alfred

[Edit: Chris posted the game. It took less than a week.]
