The only way I know to obtain the rules is to visit http://www.facebook.com/TwoRoomsAndABoom and then message them for a copy.

Helpfully the designers will engage the BGG community now that the game page exists.

Awesome!

Played your game Friday and it was lots of fun.

I enjoyed it at 6, felt a bit more "controlled"..?

At 6, how often do you co-reveal?

For us, it all depends on the roles in the set. The last 15-20 games I've played have been 7 player games. Some of them have been a matter of figuring out who to get to the right side, but some have been a trying to figure out between a couple people exactly who is who because we didn't reveal enough (because certain roles were in the game).

I co-reveal a lot and often. Part of this is because I want to see if the game breaks if all the information is out there (I don't think it does), and part of it is just my personality. I'm willing to take that risk to see what another person is. I've met people that almost NEVER co-reveal though just as a matter of general principle. I like that.

Just a quick update, we are both totally good with posting the rules. I've just uploaded a PDF to BGG, so I'll check in again once it gets approved!

Have you seem that 18 players are playing your game here?

There was some discussion of allowing or not allowing PMs. Your thoughts?

I saw that, it's pretty exciting. Thanks for setting that up, by the way, you're amazing!

I liked the idea that you can PM, but you have to tell people you are PMing. The information you would have in person is that two people are having a private conversation. PMs wouldn't work very well if you had a Paparazzi (unless Paparazzi's had to reveal, and then be included on PMs).

This game sounds interesting to me....are there any plans to publish and sell a commercial version of this in the future?

There was a rules update for 2013. You should be able to find all this elsewhere, but for convenience...

Here's a link for the playtest kit!

Also, don't forget to sign up for our emailer. This is another way we can be sure to get the latest updates to our playtesters:

Finally, here is a link to our latest newsletter with a link to the New Year's update pack. It includes some more roles and the rules update: http://us6.campaign-archive1.com/?u=e4349131acfcaef0e476eb9d...

Failure to Choose a Leader
If there a room, for some reason, fails to nominate and elect their first leader of the first round of the game before the end of the round, the leader will automatically become the player that first received a vote to be a leader that round. If, at this point, it still isn't clear who is to be leader, see Rule Disputes/Tie Votes in the rules.

I'd make one change to this: The first leader of the round to receive a vote from somebody other than oneself.

The dropbox links don't seem to be working (for me), though the rules and some suitable cards are still available in the files section. Is this just a temporary issue?

You might want to GeekMail Alan, I think he said the rules got messed up in the drop box but that he fixed it.

Also check the links on the main page.

Yep! We are totes up and running. Check out all the info you need on the latest and greatest at www.TuesdayKnightGames.com

We are still working on the www.TwoRoomsandaBoom.com website, but it is kind of cool to check out the progress we're doing on that site. We're too lazy to put up a "under construction" sign, so you can incrementally see the changes we make.
