do the dragon scales count for fighting the dragon lord?

do you fight the dragon lord when you get to the crown just smash smash smash untill you win - seems like this gives the other player(s) no chance to catch up.

do you fight each other and THEN the dragon if you find yourself on the crown of command even on the dragon board?

for the pit feeds as well as the dragon verion of pit fiends - do you fight then all one by one in a single turn, do you fight them all at once (like 4 + 4 if you fight two thats str 8 pit fiend) or do you fight one , then the next each turn delaying you?

pit feiend space makes little sence to me @_@;

coventious dragon - if you have no gold to lose, what happens?

thanks!

Yes. Each scale that matches the Dragon King you fight at the end of the game, adds +1 to your attack score in psychic combat/battle against him

Yes, It's a continuous fight in case you're winning every round. Although you could houserule that you attack once per turn. Also, if there's a stand-off, or you're defeated, your turn ends. In case of defeat you lose a life, and suffer the Dragon King's rage. Then it's another character's turn.

if there are ever two or more characters on the Crown of Command, they must fight each other to the death! The victor then continues to encounter the Dragon King, if there are other characters in play.

Your fight with the Pit Fiends is continuous. You fight one at a time on the same turn. Until you're defeated by one of them. In which case, your turn ens, and you have to encounter the rest of the Pit Fiends on your next turn/s.
We have houseruled that the Pit Fiends/hatchlings on the dragon board delay you, and you have to fight only one per turn. Gives the other characters more time to catch up.

Also note, that the Hatchlings, and a few other spaces on the Dragon board are empowered by the total number of dragon scales on the Draconic lords at the moment of the space's encounter. They're more difficult to pass, the more scales there are.

If you have no gold to lose, you lose a life instead. You can't pass the Covetous Dragon until you roll higher than him on the dice.

thanks
the covetnous dragon's space does not say you lose a life, but that seems correct as a thing. Perhaps I over looked that in the rule book.

Seems like we both houseruled the same for the pit feinds, they are SO weak, what the bleep serously? I guess (?) that maybe they are ment to be like, if you are only a craft person that they might hurt you, but still - humm, not sure why they made them so weak. (?)

come on City, I want you to be out allready >_< ... tangent

It does say it on the board. Most of your questions are answered on the board text. Perhaps you have a misprint? Have FFG send you a new board.

How does this work for http://www.talismanwiki.com/Dragon_King ?
What counts as matching, as it seems this ending doesn't have a colour associated.

It doesn't. The ending for the epic game wouldn't use it.

This is wrong. If there are two or more characters on the Crown of Command when using the Dragon King, they cannot encounter each other and they must encounter the Dragon King!
