if i buy this i think its gonna be hard to get this much on the table.but as a geek i am its a really good one player game(the poll)? so i buy it to play alone.
and when i played it a couple of times alone then play with two, then i can explane the rules fast to the other player.
good idea?

You have to, at least from a distance, look as if you know what you're doing, and I can manage that.

The game is awesome to play solo - it completely eliminates the downtime that it the game's major flaw.

Playing solo a few times will definitely help you teach the game. But I wouldn't try to teach the rules quickly . There is just too much to take in. The game includes a learning scenario that introduces different aspects slowly - every time I teach a new player, I do it by running them through the learning scenario. We've found that, even with experienced gamers, trying to teach all the rules and play a normal scenario at once is too much and they don't have fun.

I think it is a good solo game and I enjoy it.

However, it's not perfect and suffers from a lack of solo scenarios (expansion looks to add at least one solo-able scenario).

Also, the actual gameplay and process of solo-play is one of improving and refining your own play - akin to competitively playing a sport or video game. It's not about experiencing new encounters or discovering new parts of the world. There is a bit of discovery through acquiring new items and skills but the focus of the game is improving your skill at hand management and tactical decision making. If you enjoy this it is very fun.

Absolutely YES. But you need a lot of table and it will still take a while to play. But I highly recommend it.
