Id loved to hear from you on what accessory you have in your gaming collection that you couldnt live without and think everyone here should have one too.

Favorite storage container? Gaming table? Modify your board game somehow? A cool add-on for an existing game? Anything goes!

(okay, yes .. I am looking for Christmas gift ideas)

A set of non-denominational poker chips

Comes in handy when you dont want to deal with paper money or thin cheap chips that come with some games.

A dice tray

Keeps the dice from rolling everywhere, and off the table.

Here's a good geeklist with good stuff in it.

Mini poker chips from Meeple Source. They make a great replacement for paper money and don't take up as much space as full size ships.

And of course, Crown Royal bags are always handy to have.

Sorry didn't notice you mentioned Crown Royal bags before I made my post, so +1 to you for mentioning it first.

It's more fun to make that bag available than actually using it in the game though.

Games: Regarding my favorite theme of 'Fantasy', I'm hoping for fewer 'card' games and more 'board' games.

Without a doubt my favorite 'gaming accessory' has to be my Spiderlegs folding table. It is a 3'x3' card table that collapses down and then folds in half. I use it when I'm solo gaming or playing a small/medium sized game with one or two others. I store it away in my game room where it virtually has no footprint. The second to last picture in my profile gives a pretty good view of how slim it is when folded away (it's just to the right of the display case).

www.spiderlegs.com

3'x3' is the largest they offer, but they do accept custom commissions. On my Christmas wishlist this year is one of their folding laptop desks for a little extra table space. Good stuff!

Backgammon Precision dice for any game!

Sure, they are expensive, but they are odds on favorites for 'true' random results.

Very cool! Definitely going to have to keep this site in mind.

Laser Level.

For games where you need to draw line of sight (Conflict of Heroes, Dust Tactics, Dust Warfare, for example), it's extremely handy and fun to use.

Plano organizers for sure. Especially the little ones. If I can find tiny ones that fit in the original box insert, it makes me feel extra warm and fuzzy inside.

Also a big canvas bag for gaming on the go is on my wishlist. Someone in another thread pointed to these, the extra large seeming perfect:

While what I use are plastic containers, sleeves and a kind of blanket to put over the table I guess I'd say:

Cloth to cover the table to not get shit on the cards or scratch components and to make them easier to pick up and not move around that easily.

Possibly plastic bags because they are cheaper than plastic containers.

Possibly sleeves to prevent marking of cards and make them easy to shuffle.

Chips and salsa.

Followed by napkins.

Folding tables are up there too. (2 more players? No problem!)

A set of silicone cupcake bakers. Great for bits that usually sit in piles on the table. Use a coupon to get a Wilton set for cheap at one of the mega craft shops.
Small plastic snap-on lid containers work well, too. I use those for storage in many games.

Yes! The tiny tupperwares from the dollar store! Invaluable for chitastic FFG games and a huge step up from baggies.
