Is there a need to have both of these games?

I've played High Society and I enjoy it, especially the Knizia touches. Would For Sale offer enough new gameplay to justify adding it to my collection?

Both are 20-minute games with nothing but auctions that play equally well with three, four, or five players, so on one level you don't need both games. The replay value on both is also equally strong.

That said, I would suggest owning both games because I'm a game slut.

high society was great when i got it, but it wasn't actually FUN and it basically seemed like an instructional tool for the auction mechanic. to me, for sale actually has some fun.

the opposite for me: I love High Society. For Sale is just average.

I would have both if you like auction games as fillers. For Sale plays
faster as with HS you need to think a little bit more.
