Hello, people!

Today, in a lazy afternoon, since my Yucata games are on hold due the absence of players, I fired up Keldon to race a little for the galaxy. I'm, by no means, a top notch player, to win 100 times I probably lost 700 (specially since I learned the game playing against the AI - this is true even for the Gathering Storm expansion). Since my friends or don't have the other expansions or don't like them, I see, so far, no reason to add them. Well, maybe now its time to start.

Anyway, I'm kind of proud of the victory because it occurred without 6-dev cards in my tableau and, even though I went military in the second half, I still managed (with, of course, luck) to take the 5-points goal. Largest Industry was, after Round 4, always mine. However, Green was ahead after claiming System Diversity, Budget Surplus and Production Leader. After I put Improved Logistics, I was glad that the Greatest Infrastructure goal wasn't in play, because with +3 Military and Improved Logistics I had the upper hand in a planets race (to keep Largest Industry and to take Production Leader).

I went with windfall planets first to have a card flow. But Green was still ahead in points. But Former Penal Colony and Epsilon Eridani allowed me to conquer, in the last round, the Lost Alien Battle Fleet and (with Improved Logistics) to settle Lost Species Ark World. As it was written in the Book of Pythia: "he who find what was once lost, shall rule the galaxy".

With my two last planets, I took away from Green the Production Leader goal and claimed my 100th victory!

I know, not the most awesome game, but I wanted to share the joy! Happy New Year!
