Do the cubes have ANY impact on Marches across the LoC they are present on.

Across, not ONTO. I'd figure they are patrolling?

Don't think so. They "paid" to land in the Dept or city (march on Loc is free),. Their destination is where they get Activated, not their path. If it were the case, then the space that they travelled from would also activate them, if cubes present.

It is pretty clear that it is only the destination that matters.

I agree with Mark.

But as a point of interest, in the reverse case Guerrillas on LoCs stop cubes from shifting around Colombia on a Patrol, which makes cutting off a geographical region such as the south a valid consideration for FARC when deciding which LoCs to threaten.

Because vehicular and logistically intensive conventional forces are dependent on roads and rails, light guerrilla forces much less so.

The troops and police are patrolling, it's true, but it's relative child's play for guerrillas to walk across a road and keep going without being detected. Sitting near or on a road to impede it is a far more perilous matter. As is moving into an area in which the locals don't like you and are backed up by government forces in the vicinity.

I'm surprised no one referenced the US Border Patrol's ineffectiveness in it's duties..

Guess none of you live in the border states..
