Artscow has custom playing cards for $7.99-$9.99 with free shipping.

The price depends on whether the decks are "photo playing cards" (same back) or "multi-purpose cards" (different backs).

The coupon codes are about halfway down this page: http://www.artscow.com/promote/fcfs.aspx

I think each code can only be used once, but they say they'll be posting new ones every day. Each code is good for multiple decks.

I got the Morbidity, End Day, and Threat Level Six fan expansions for Pandemic for just under $40.

Neat, so how do I turn a file from a game into a set of cards?

Best directions are over here. I think listed within that thread are either directions or a link to directions about setting up your graphics as far as size/dimensions.

I've been waiting for a sale with a discount + free shipping to kick in again so I can pick up Inception.

I wonder if those Pandemic decks will work with the 2013 edition.

Can anyone suggest a "must have" PnP game that I can order through Artscow?

I was looking into 12 Realms, but it requires boards and such to be printed, and it would be easier for me to simply buy the game, now that it's been Kickstarted.

Are there any deck only games I really should have?

Thanks!

Balloon Cup is a fantastic game, though it does require different colored markers. I bought wooden cubes, but there are definitely cheaper solutions.

I suspect they won't, but they should add enough variety to the core game that I won't need to buy the upgrade pack.

Aliens: This Time It's War is very good. There is a recent redesign that looks nice: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/837656/lines-re-design-o...

You'd need to ArtsCow an upgrade kit for that.

You'll have to swap out the graphic on the backs of the cards with the new card backs, but other than that, I see no reason why it shouldn't work (unless they also change the size of the cards). Might not fit the style of the new edition as well, but functionally it will work just fine.

This is only really good if you want to get one deck. Any more than that and you may as well use Printerstudio. You can use the $5 off for signing up for their newsletter right now and get 2 54 card decks by selecting the 108 total car printing and pay $7 without shipping. Hell, 234 cards are only a little over $20 normally, and anything over $30 is free shipping.

Now you tell me!

I got two decks. However, the convenience of clicking a link on BGG that takes me to pre-configured decks is a pretty big factor for me.

Now, if you tell me that I could have got the same (or similar) decks preconfigured at PrinterStudio, then I'll have to cry just a tiny bit. soblue

I believe they refresh the codes each day. Each one is a one-time code, I hear.

That's the only downside, there's no gallery of products. However, considering the price, I'm ok with doing a little leg work.

I've been speaking to the people at PrinterStudio and they're going to roll out the ability to create and share projects with others this Spring.

Also, I've been pestering PrinterStudio about a custom card playing sale. To my knowledge, they last had a "50% off and free shipping" sale on custom cards in November 2011. They're forwarding these sale requests on to the marketing team so I would recommend people send them this sale request - the more people ask, the sooner they will do it. Their contact form is http://www.printerstudio.com/contact.aspx

This coupon also covers round playing cards, so if you've been waiting for a round card version of Light Speed, here's your chance. http://www.artscow.com/gallery/playing-cards/light-speed-rou...

Thanks for this, I went ahead and ordered the excellent newer version of Aliens: This Time It's War for just shy of $30, shipped.

(Don't worry sports fans, I also own Revolver but I've wanted the "original" theme for quite some time.)
