I had the same issue 4 years ago (living in Kitchener then). I was only able to find cheap boards in the GTA. I ended up buying a board from billiboards.com and having it shipped to a place just across the border in Niagara Falls NY. Picked it up there ($5 for their service) and brought it back, had to pay GST at customs. All told around $300.

If you've got some patience you could probably get one much cheaper via Kijiji.

That's much more then I want to spend. I was hoping around $100. I'll keep my eye on Kijiji. I'm surprised no one around here makes boards.

Have you tried looking locally instead of having it shipped?

I investigated getting one online but then I went to some local Indian stores:

and was able to get a great deal.

A quick Google search shows there are a bunch nearby(?) - maybe some of them sell boards.

Never thought of checking food marts. They actually sell them there? I'll call around. Thanks.

Thanks again dude. Just picked up a huge board, discs and powder for $39. The first place I called had them I would have paid $100. I couldn't believe when she said it was only $39. I take back my initial statement. That wasn't hard at all.

A little cross-border cooperation goes a long way.

Enjoy!!!!
