I have a question about multiplayer variant of Grand Scenario (1805-1814)
Is it possible to fight each other player-controlled major power or you are limited to fight your opposite bloc - e.g. can player-controlled Prussia fight against player controled Russia (or Austria)? And what are victory conditions in multiplayer?

You can in theory fight against any country, player or not, for example Prussia and Turkey might fight Russia and Austria while France watches. However, there is less to be gained by such wars than in, say Empires in Arms, because you do not earn victory points during play. Instead, victory is assessed in two different ways:

1, Each played major power has certain conditions for auto-victory, and the game is over if they are fulfilled. As an example, France has to impose the Continental system on all of Europe over five turns to win like that (meaning conquering Russia, controlling Spain).

2, If no one wins an autovictory, victory is assessed at the end of the campaign (winter 1814). You get vp for holding certain territorial objectives like Paris, Berlin, Rome. You lose a vp for each time you have broken an alliance during the game (less backstabbing here than in EiA).

So final position is more or less what is important, but the auto-victory conditions steer play in historical directions.
