wonder did u guys have any rules on converting the dungeons and dragons miniature for descent play? more monsters to play with descent as our own monster expansion. hahaha.

i do not have any rules but i find these good minis:
Angelfire-Skeletal Archer 50/60 C
Deathknell-Skullcrusher Ogre 41/60 U

check out their galleries:
http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/mix/gallery

have read before somewhere already posted with some good minis from dnd. but i lost that.

after checking out the dnd galleries, let me know which is good for descent? dnd minis come with re-painted, good.
not only for the monsters, the heroes too.

Common(C) minis are cheaper and easy to check.
Uncommon(U) cost alittle extra.
Rare(R) are expensive.

will be nice to play with color figures.

Yes, the D&D miniatures are great for this game. The weakest link in the figs are the heros, all grey, not very detailed, and smaller than I would like. I have substituted all my grey ones out for painted slightly larger D&D ones. Works great!

I have looked at a few of the monsters and have yet had time to play around adding new monsters. I would love to add some smaller monsters like goblins and such. Maybe Goblins special ability is to confer Sweep to the heros attacking them. Just a thought.

Peace

Not a bad idea. I think I might also try the reciprocal - using the Descent 'maps' for D&D miniatures.
