Awesome and insightful article on the YouTube Geek & Sundry channel show in which Wil and guests play board games...in case you didn't already know about it.

Thanks for the link....Will continues to impress. Even though I am not interested in playing many of the games he has on the program, the show is still top notch and entertaining. Hell, he made me want to sit in on the game of Munchkin with Jackson. With a bottle of Tequila by my side I think it would be a blast!

You mean, as long as you had an iPhone (or droid whatever) so you could do something fun at the same time?

Wait, ignore my previous post, normal Munchkin hater service has been resumed.

Actually, I can't stand munchkin, but any game that involves tequila and Steve Jackson? Where the frack do I sign up?

Frankly, I watch the show despite him. Nothing personal, I don't know the guy, but he comes across just slightly smarmy. It's all subjective, just the way I feel.

As for Munchkin. No comment worth printing.

The science of history is a great bulwark against the stream of Time; in a way it checks this irresistible flood, it holds in a tight grasp whatever it can seize floating on the surface and will not allow it to slip away into the depths of oblivion

I don't watch the show on the regular but i do like it, plus they play a lot of great games. And now Target carries some of those games seen on the show, which could go either way but i think any awareness of the hobby is good. As a side note, I had no idea this show existed until after we had the idea and started producing our show which is mildly similar.

Is that Munchkin haters, or Wil Wheaton haters? I thought hating Wil was once de rigueur but now passé?

Smarmy is his type cast. Look at all of his guest roles. He plays it well! Probably hard to turn off sometimes. I'd say my favorite guest role of his was either in Leverage or Eureka.

It's not a matter of hating or loving Will Wheaton. Just the way I see the persona of tabletop. Whether that is a persona or the man,I don't know and can't be bothered to care. It is what it is.
