So we are going to Disneyland tomorrow for the week. While we are there, I would love to go to a FLGS that is close. Here are my questions:

1. What is a good FLGS close to Disneyland
2. Are there any good Disney games? (A stretch I'm sure)

That's pretty much it for now. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hello,

The only game store I can think of that's close to D-land is Brookhurst Hobbies on Brookhurst Street and Chapman Avenue. It's only a few miles away..

Sorry, but I can't help you on #2. Hopefully someone else might have some suggestions.

Have fun!
Adam

Dice House Games is another good game store with tables and an excellent selection of games. According to Google, it's about the same distance as Brookhurst (~15min for both):

I can't help with the first -- if you wanted a Disneyland guide, I could help with that, but not anything else in the area.

As to the second, my two favorites are:
1. The Game of Life: Pirates of the Caribbean
and
2. The Game of LIFE - The Haunted Mansion

Both of these are the Disney theme park editions. (Pirates has a couple of others based on the movies -- but I'm a fan of the parks and choose to stick with these.) And yet, I'm not certain these are the exact editions I'm thinking of -- I swear there was one called "A Pirate's Life" and that the Haunted Mansion version was older than 2010. But since I can't seem to find any other references, perhaps I'm incorrect.

I wondered how long until some star wars references came.

Some of the suggestions look good. I'll keep my eye open for those theme park versions (although I'm skeptical on those kinds of things).

I'm hoping to get to one of the FLGS while we are there so those suggestions are great as well!

My wife and I are total Disnerds (annual passholders for Walt Disney World and we even got married there!). That is why I have to recommend the Disney Magic Kingdom Game. It is a roll and move game but it can be a lot of fun if you house rule it with a time limit etc. Disney World also has the in-park Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom game which does have a fun co-op home version.

Definitely check out Dice House, as was already suggested.

It's on Chapman and State College.

The store is small but Tuan who runs it is super nice.

Are you bringing any games into the park? Ill be there too

We brought DC Deck-builder, Quarriors, Tichu, and Lost Cities (so we would have something fun and light to play at night). Hoping to check out the FLGS and maybe buy something there plus buy a game at the park.
