Bring on the hordes, we have the sword that smote the Goblin of Gygaxnor.
Hey there, During the night turn there is the threat of the SZLT (sub-zero loss table) if you perform certain actions. "Units may perform movement, Assaults, and Combats on night turns, though by doing so they may incur additional step reductions on the SZLT"
if a unit is attacked does it incur the SZLT check, or is it only applied to the unit that initiates the action?
Note however that if the Finns initiate the attack and force the Soviets to retreat from under a bonfire marker, the Soviets still have to check for SZLT losses. Even though they did not initiate the attack, they are no longer under a bonfire so they are vulnerable to the cold. Yet another subtlety of night turn strategies.
