For squadron interception, weather is irrelevant, providing no modifier, contrary to Detection and Bombing. Weather is only checked to know how many Squadrons may shift to other Bomber Boxes when combat has begun.

I think weather should be taken into account when interception is checked. For example, Patchy Clouds could be considered as "normal" weather and Squadron attempting to intercept a Raid in Clear Weather could have a "+1" Bonus, while Squadrons attempting in Broken Clouds colud have a "-1" Malus to intercept die roll.

Does your suggestion take into consideration the Radar Intercept/Ground Control directing?

ie The interceptors would be directed to a location where visual acquisition would be very possible.
