I totally did, and I won't admit to being disappointed when I clicked and saw a paint rack.

Looks really cool and well laid out though

Very nice! My paints are either shoe-boxed or, more likely, just lying around the place blush

Wow... had to do a quick re-read of your title. Thought it read' I finally made something to hold my PANTS.

So I'm thinking... belt... suspenders?
Ok, and what does this have to do with boardgaming?

I mujst remember to always re-read things when they are unclear...

Perhaps if we just forgot about the paints completely and used this thread to talk about pants it would be less confusing.

Of course, for us Brits, "Something to hold up pants" conjures up an image even weirder than that...

I'm intrigued now. Thought I was quite at home with British, but I have no idea what you are referring to :-/

Americans call trousers 'pants', and those might be held up by braces; British people call pants pants, and holding those up with braces is a little odd...

Of course, Americans call braces 'suspenders', and the idea of men walking around wearing suspenders is also rather amusing.

I thought braces were buttoned to the pants/trousers, while suspenders are clipped, like in the image above.

Of course, I have a selection of both.

"pants" is what us Brits call "underpants"

We call trousers, "trousers".

That's all. It's just a classic, lazy stand up comedian routine in miniature.

(something to hold up pants would be elastic, you see... oh never mind)

In British English, at least, braces are braces regardless of whether they use buttons or clips, and suspenders are the frilly belts women use to hold their stockings up - also known as garters.

This thread is meaningless to me as I never wear pants when playing board games.

I cut down trees, I wear high heels, suspenders and a bra.
I wish I'd been a girlie just like my dear papa.
