I paid 100 GG for this thinking it was a Geek Badge...
I've always wanted to make a deck with the "Resource Overkill + Longbeard Mapmaker = Insane Questing", but it never seems to work out. Basically, one resource for one quest point is just always a bad deal, so I would avoid going that route. Let me know if you have any luck though.
Sure - but i have played Tactics/Leadership games where i end up with over 20 spare resources on the table. I just imagine that every 2 turns you can generate 10 lore resources, know what's coming next and complete quest stages really quickly.
My intention was to build a 3 Lore-hero deck initially, in the same way that i have been building 3 tactics-hero decks. Not a dwarf deck as i have done this before. I am currently thinking about Bilbo/denethor/+1 but who?
Elrond - threat is too high
Glorfindel - threat is kind of too high
Beravor - threat is high-ish, not quite as useful as glorfindel - card draw not needed
Then all i have is dwarves and you end up building around the dwarf trait (which i am kind of bored of)
Would like to see a new lore hero who can ready other lore characters without needing to access Spirit sphere.
As it stands, i will probably end up using Glorfindel Spirit/Denethor/Bilbo - starting threat of 22. However, it has been a long time since i have mixed two spheres + one song sphere in a deck. Will probably go with 15 or so spirit/leadership cards and the rest lore. I probably do not need to worry too much about a trim deck with bilbo in town.
