The Ares website lists today as the street date for this game:
http://www.aresgames.eu/upcoming-products

Are any Canadian retailers carrying this and the game mats?

The Canadian distributor LION RAMPANT is the main distributor for Ares' range in Canada. So anybody ordering from them should be able to stock the Wings line.

Thanks, I'll have to get in contact with my local retailers to see who orders from LION RAMPANT.

I haven't been able to find a single Canadian retailer who carries this product. Even most of the largar American online stores (Boards&Bits, FunAgain, Thoughthammer) don't seem to carry it. Why is it so difficult to find?

Germangames.com used to sell the Wings of War planes and starter packs. Who knows... they may start again with WOG.

After looking at many online retailers, the only 'Canadian'-based seller I could find (that didn't want an arm and a leg) was amazon.ca - which I'm not sure is Canadian anyhow.

The phony thing was that the item actually shipped from a store located in the UK called The Book Depository.
