Definitely legs. Walking pain-free would be awesome (I have gout).

Robot Legs. Two hip surgeries and you could run super fast places or jump really high and stuff.

You could also win the Tour De France like seven times, though it would be found out later and your titles will be taken away.

Robot arms, easily.

Consider it this way: would you rather have robot arms and no legs, or robot legs and no arms? If you're going to get cybernetic enhancements, go with the one with opposable thumbs.

Get the robot arms, then use them to extort robot legs out of the people that gave you the robot arms. Anesthesia is the only problem...

I don't get your logic. From my point of view there's always the possibility that the robotic limbs don't work as well, slower, more awkward, etc. or are subject to some sort cybervirus, programming error etc. And if nothing else, you'd not have the same sensations in the robotic limbs that you'd have in real flesh.

So the question I'd ask is which would you rather have, real arms and defective robot legs or real legs and defective robot arms.

Do the robot legs extend to the feet? If so, and in light of recent surgeries, this is a no-brainer for me.

Robots legs are much less likely to unintentionally crush someone's hand as they attempt to shake my hand. In other words, legs.

I voted for arms. If the arms are good enough you can use them to make a pair of robot legs.

To be honest though, my legs are fairly strong as it is, but I have puny little girl arms, so it's a no-brainer for me.

Oh, man... What's the movie/TV show I'm thinking of where a character gets a robot hand and then someone recommends him to "Test it on a banana first."

That's going to bother me now...

Gotta go legs. Even with very good control software, I assume regaining fine motor control in my hands and fingers would be very hard, and, I expect, something that can't be done totally unless under a certain age. Legs need less fine motor control, and offer tons of practical benefits (especially if we're talking high quality cyberpunk style legs).
