I joined a new gym recently and since I hate working out in the evening and don't have time during lunch, I attend the morning classes. In order to get to them on time, I have to set my alarm for 5am.

I'm a few weeks in and now find it difficult to stay awake past 10. I wonder if I'll even see the end of the Super Bowl this Sunday.

Strange to live on Sao Paulo time without the weather benefits.

I had the same dilemma as you. I decided to man up and work out in the evenings. I'm at the gym until 2AM some days (it's open 24 hours). In the end, I decided that I sort of liked that; I can put my kids to sleep, get some work done, go to the gym, and then I'm really ready for sleep.

I'm not a morning person. At all.

I have the same affliction as well. After much research in the field of sleepology, I came to the same conclusion over several different theory chains...

You're getting old.

so you don't have to be up in the morning? that'd be awesome for me.

I get up at around 7AM. So yes, I have to be up in the morning. But 4 or 5 hours sleep is enough for me most nights, so a 1AM-2AM workout fits in fine.

Oh gosh, I'm driving to work at 7am!!!!!!

I'd love to work out in the mornings, but we both start work very early and get up at 5am as it is now!
