Subject: Order of Setup? rss

Hey guys - What's the order for setup in case both teams want to wait for as much information as possible before making any decision? I'm going to take a stab and it and please correct me where I'm wrong:

1. Players agree on game size.
2. Consul chooses spawn points.
3. Heroes choose heroes to field.
4. Heroes place first tile and go back and forth with Consul.
5. Consul places spawn points.
6. Heroes place start marker.
7. Consul places treasure chests.
8. Consul spawns 4 skulls of monsters.
9. Game starts, Will roll-off, ties go to Heroes.

Well, let's see. Working from the rulebook (and I don't see any changes with the v1.5 Errata):

1. Players agree on game size.

2. Heroes choose Hero models and Consul chooses Consul models (Boss and/or Mini-Boss(es), spawning points).
Going by the rules as written, I don't see that the Heroes get to know the Consul's decisions prior to choosing their models. The Heroes section is actually printed first, so if you wanted to insist on a rulebook ordering, I'd think it would be Heroes first. I suppose I'd consider this ambiguous enough to suggest that the group could make their own decision: Heroes first, Consul first, or simultaneous hidden decisions.

3. Consul always selects and places the first tile, then Heroes, taking turns.

4. Consul places spawning points.

5. Heroes enter the dungeon (placing start marker and Heroes).

6. Consul places treasure chests.

Consul spawns 4 skulls of monsters.
To be clear here -- there is not an extra set of spawned Consul models at the beginning of the game. It's the regular spawning phase that kicks off every round.

7. Round 1 of the game begins (Consul spawns, then roll for initiative).
