These questions are not just for retailers but publishers as well, and while I am not trying to get anyone to divulge any market data of their own, I am curious about the following:

Do any of the retailers or games publishers use the Plays data inputted by BGG users for any purpose? For instance, do you look at Plays data to see how popular a game is/was, or how it is sustaining over time?

Would you look at Plays data as a factor in determining whether or not to rerelease/reissue/remake a game?

Are there things you wish users would do to make Plays data more useful for you?

Thanks to any and all who take the time to indulge my curiosity on this!
