I hope to play my first game of Ground Floor tonight, but I want to make sure I understand a few things:No. p7, under Office Remodel (emphasis mine): "After paying this cost, the player takes the desired Remodeled Room tile from the general stock and places it on top of the corresponding Ground Floor room on their Player board."
GFR = Ground Floor Room
TI = Tenant Improvement
1. Can I remodel a GFR into a different advanced GFR? For example, could I remodel Advertising into the improved Storage Closet, thus allowing me to store 3 items?
2. The rules indicate that I can place a TI on a GFR, even a remodeled GFR, right? If it has been remodeled, I still get the points for the remodeled GFR, right?Yes. p17, under Tenant Improvements: "When Players expand their business with a new T.I., they can either place it on an "Empty Floor" Improvement space or on top of another room. This other room (either a previous T.I. or a Ground Floor room) becomes inaccessible to the Player; it's ability cannot be used not can it be remodeled. However, it's Prestige Points will still count at the end of the game."
3. Can I place a remodeled GFR on a TI that is on a GFR? If so, must it be the same as the original GFR? I really want that 3 storage... :)Nope. See the previous rule citation.
