Surprised this hasn't been posted yet so for those who don't know, here you go. I like the idea of the heroes turning just not sure if it makes thematic sense they stay on the same side. Obviously they want to keep the game co-op and there is always room for house rules as they stated in the face book comment quoted above.

Considering all the other Spoilers got their own, I feel it's justified.

So what do you think of the Resurrection mechanic? Is anyone going to try to Houserule that the Zombivors turn on the team mates?

I hate the cars so much! The resurrection sounds cool but until we've seen the heroic missions it's hard to tell whether it'll be too overpowered. I see it being used best in campaigns. So you start as a Survivor, if you die you come back as a Zombivor, if you die again you are toast. No coming back next mission with 1 wound or whatever. You are out. Think it would work really well over a 4-5 scenario campaign and really keep the pressure on keeping your guys and gals safe. Would work best with only 2-3 players though. Be pretty annoying if your only character is dead and all your mates are still playing!

I guess you're referring to 'super-heroic'.

We don't know, some have speculated that it's a difficulty rating, I've speculated that it's the new name for the beyond-red mode, that was previously seen in the 300 downloadable scenario.

Or it could just be a turn of phrase.

Regarding "resurrection" being overpowered... think of it as a way to turn a loss into a "partial win". If you successfully beat the scenario without anyone becoming a zombie, it's a "complete win" worth 100 (arbitrary number) points. If anyone becomes a zombie, it's a partial win; subtract 10 points for each Survivor who became a Zombivor.

I don't think it would be feasible to have them turn on their former teammates. Not while still having them controlled by players. Quite often you have people playing with more than one figure, so you do you objectively have yourself trying to kill your other self? Bit of a conflict of interest, and I think people would tend to play down a pvp zombivor.

My only concern with the resurrection idea is that if you die it's most likely because you were over run by a herd of zombies. I doubt the circumstances will be much different once you are "resurrected"

Player can resurrect in any following player's phase, he can wait till the hoard has passed.

True but while you stay 'dead' don't forget that zombies keep spawning so that hoard that killed you might of moved on, but there could be another hoard just around the corner.

I'm definitely not going to use these as written; as fun as the game is the creators certainly seem to be doing their best to absolutely destroy the theme with their horrible rule ideas. Friendly zombies? What in the hell were they thinking? Have they NEVER seen a zombie movie?
