Someone in the comments of this weeks thrift/bargain finds geeklist was asking about how to remove labels. I looked through the forums to see if anybody had started a "best practices" discussion about getting things cleaned. I didn't see anything. If you can point me in the direction of another thread, awesome, if not, then consider this one a starting point.

How do you clean your finds? What do you use to clean plastic? painted plastic? wood bits? stained wood bits? cardboard? playing cards? boxes? etc, etc, etc?

Thanks! I didn't consider searching for "fixes" -- only on "clean."
