without being an almighty pain in the arse, which i'm sure i'm becoming in the LBG eyes haha..i'd like to make an observation
the banner ads state project funded, which makes it seem like the KS project is funded AND complete... would funding 150% and rising not be better? it thus shows the project is not complete..
To my eyes, it looks like your running an ad for the game when it's comes out thanks to it's succesful funding??

Well, a lot of kick starter projects fail.

Jeff's thinking was to let people know this one was going to get built.

Would we be mentioning KS if the project were over?

What do others think?

Stuart is agreeing that letting people know it is funded is important. I think he's suggesting instead of saying "Funded" saying "150% Funded and rising" or something similar.

I'm not sure it's a big deal but other Kickstarter's in the past (Particularly CMON's Sedition Wars/RivetWars/RelicKnights/Zombicide) have listed the percentage in order to let folks know it was so well funded and stretch goals have been met.

I'm not sure it would make much of a difference personally but I do see the possible advantage of Stuart's suggestion.

I'm okay either way...I do think that Stuart's idea would be a lot clearer though. More communication is always better IMO .

yes - the whole point here is that you want people to come to kickstarter and pledge... stating project funded seems a definitive statement - it reads like the kickstarter is over.
It's only a small thing, I agree, but I assume your paying for the ads, so it makes sense to maximise their impact!
Maybe - 150% funded, next stretch specialist cards, or something like that..

Seems like Stuart and I think along similar lines. I read the banner ads in exactly the same way he did - but after the conversation in the other thread, I thought I'd keep quiet. whistle

They say silence is golden...but then again, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Everyone's input is welcome I'm sure.
