Cartrunk Entertainment (http://unpub.net/) is partnering with Myriad Games (http://www.myriadgames.com/manchester) to host a series of Mini Unpublished Games Festivals. The first event will be held at Myriad Games: Manchester (1525 South Willow St; Manchester, NH) on Saturday February 16 from 12pm to 7pm. The event is free and everyone is welcome.
Game designers from around the area will be coming together come to present their games for a day of play-testing with local players in the friendly setting of Myriad Games, one of New Hampshire’s best game stores! Space is still open for designers. Register at http://unpub.net/game-registration/!
The Unpublished Game Festival is part of a movement spreading throughout the nation giving local game designers a chance to put their games in front of players who want to help them. Designers and publishers play their games with the attendees and talk about them, gaining valuable feedback that makes their games better. The ultimate goal is to help independent designers get their games published and sold in stores across the country and around the world.
Jesse Catron (Salmon Run) had this to say after a recent Unpub event “As a designer it was a tremendous opportunity to showcase my game and receive quality feedback. I also had a great time playing other new and interesting games. I highly recommend Unpub events to any gamer or game designer.”
This event will be the first in a series of Unpub Minis hosted by Myriad Games. The dates of other events at Myriad Games: Manchester are March 23, May 25, and June 22. There are two events scheduled at Myriad Games: Salem (8 Stiles Rd; Salem, NH 03079) on April 27 and July 27. All events are on Saturdays, run from 12pm to 7pm, and are free to all participants.
Unpub Minis offer an afternoon of great gaming for all participants. Come to Myriad Games: Manchester on Saturday February 16, 2013 from 12pm to 7pm and join in the fun of making good games great!
