I came across a thread a while back that gave instructions on how to download information about your collection. I was wondering if anyone knew if there were a way to download partial sections of the entire BGG database?

For example, is there a way to download the data from all games in the Fantasy category? I'd like to add some information and sort offline for my own personal private use and it would be great not to have to reinvent the wheel (aka start from scratch and entering all the data). Mostly for personal collection issues and figuring out what games I dont own that would be a good add to my wishlist.

I'm a data geek so please be kind. Just wondering if there was a way to get a copy of the database.

Thanks!
