House Initiative Variant
It's quite unclear in the original rules who goes first when in certain phases (which is important in many phases, like the last one to pay for Church/Guild influence gets an advantage since he/she knows how much is needed to get the Favor) and the 1D10 roll to see who goes first is not that fun and time consuming. So the change is:

Players always go by the house number, which is:
1. House Hawkwood
2. House Decados
3. House Hazat
4. House Li Halan
5. House Al Malik

It's recommended that houses are selected by licitation (since houses with low initiative are in disadvantage). Everyone starts with 30FB, then roll 1D10 to select the starting licitator. The starting licitator selects any house and make a bid then players make bids in clockwise. Each player can bid any number of FB but no less than previous bid (you can't bid more FB that you have) or pass. Once passed you can not bid anymore for that house. Once everyone exept one player passes. The winner pays the bid and takes the house. Then the player on the right of the winner becomes a new starting licitator. Licitation continues until everyone gets a house (the last player gets the remaining house for free). Everyone keeps their remaining FBs not used spend on licitation.
