Here is a fun deck I'm trying out. The idea was to totally neutralize Emergency Shutdown while leveraging Commercialization as a big credit card.

At this point, it's still very much a fun deck, but I can see the beginnings of a competitive deck archetype here. Suggestions are welcome.

Amazon is actually terrible with Emergency Shutdown, as you're paying to rez ICE before they even stop the runner once, and it doesn't provide a recurring benefit like Akitaro. If you're looking to screw over Emergency Shutdown, you should grab him instead. This deck will also get run over by Anarchs as their efficient breakers will run rampant here until you can Chum something, in which case they'll use Parasite/Datasucker to easily get past it.

Ultimately I think Weyland is still devoted to big ICE like Archer, and needs to beat Emergency Shutdown with good play rather than trying to do something that Jinteki, NBN, and even HB does better than them.

The lack of surprises make this "engine" really sad, check the turbo amazon deck in another thread for a bunch of feedback.

That one was an HB deck but the gist is really pretty similar.

I would be a little worried playing this now with Dinosaurus giving everyone a reason to play Mimic and Yog.

I think I would either add Archer or Rototurrent, or switch Troubleshooter to Experiential Data. Just doesn't seem like blowing a bunch of creds to pump Wall of Static is a great play very often.

Also, with only 23 in-faction influence, I wonder if you could run this basic idea out of a different faction.

Test
Add 3x woodcutter and you have a combo. Probably add another commercialisation and your set for cash too.

I mostly agree with you about wanting some big Ice in Weyland, but I did want to point out that a quick check of the Ice in this deck reveals that none of it costs more than 3. So you actually don't pay to rez Ice when you're using Amazon. Which is actually a pretty interesting approach.
