Just what the h--l is a "five and dime" list? I read somewhere that it is a list of games that you've played five or more times OR ten or more times. Yet in the several that i've read it's never distinguished which game is played only 5 to 9 times and which is 10+ times. I don't get it. Why not just have list saying: "here are the games i played alot of last year". I understand that "5 and Dime" has a nice ring to it, but why not "A nickle list" because the dime is redundant with the five part.
I realize that i'm being overly snappish here, but it's just my rude, geek nature coming out.devil

The phrase is helpful to remind me which is which - on the occasions I need to interact with US small change, I struggle to get nickels and dimes the right way round shake
