Ladies and Gentlemen,

Welcome to the 24 hour contest March 2013
The basic rules-/discussion-/subscription thread can be found here.
With all this snow flying and lying around (at least over here), this month's requirement is going to be:

Snow

(and if you think, Jon Snow (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jon_Snow_(A_Song_of_Ice_and_Fi...) ) counts in, too, go for it. Show us, what this guy is up to )

Happy designing and kind regards,
Kai

p.s.: As usual - whatever gets tipped to this thread, will be awarded to the winner

Yes

The Shadows in the Forest is one of the first board games I have had the pleasure with.

I've always wanted to create an adult variant of it.

I'm still hoping to finish this one:

Newest game concept: POISONED!

Well, the thing is...we moved to Sweden 2 years ago (I'm a Germ, too).

There's a lot of snow up here. And no playtesters or people I'd like to ask. Not a single one.

That's why the project POISONED! takes a break.

Meanwhile, I got sucked into the mad world of solo gaming..who'd be surprised?

Perhaps you've had a look at my postcard game thread...that's where I am right now.

However, the snow game is a very printer-friendly solo game with nice little trees (no pillars like in POISONED!) and the torch of the town guard (tea light).
Whenever one of the 9 tiles is IN THE DARK, a monster pops up there. You can't move in the dark (there are a few spells and torches, though). You need to bash monsters, find items and level up in order to finally kill the evil sorcerer in his ice cave.

Looks very nice.

Interesting concept, too.

Is there an entry at the geek's database?

And on a more general note:
Since in February noone has participated, the award for Feb gets carried over to march:

Currently we are at 1 reward for the winner

Not yet, as it isn't sufficiently playtested...
Started another thread about it in the boardgame design section yesterday..

Frosthold! A co-op tactical dungeon crawl where a group of heroes have bitten off more than they can chew.

Whelps, looks like I didn't make it. Doing this on a working day is REALLY a bad idea.
