I'm torturing myself by forcing my way through Dagger of Dreams before moving on to GRRM's Feast for Crows.

Does anyone know of an online resource that can provide a summarized version of the first 10 WoT books that doesn't include spoilers from book 11?

Well, there's always Book-A-Minute SF/F

http://rinkworks.com/bookaminute/sff.shtml

Here's Path Of Daggers: http://rinkworks.com/bookaminute/b/jordan.path.shtml

More seriously, this page has chapter summaries for each book through #10:

http://www.dragonmount.com/Books/index.php

The WOT FAQ is here (updated through book 10):

http://www.steelypips.org/wotfaq/

(I've only been able to force myself to skim the last two or three books myself...why do I bother??)

Don't expect too much from A Feast for Crows. It's much too Jordanesque (Robert, not Michael) in terms of "stuff happening" for comfort.

Kevin - Thanks! Just what the doctor ordered.

Fawkes - Well, if it really caps at 6 books, like GRRM claims, then I can see the series following the same pattern that Jordan's does - ie a collection of linked trilogies. Jordan's books clearly have a trilogy pattern where books 1, 4, 7, and 10 are all setup - books 2, 5, 8, and from what I hear 11 all move the setup towards confrontation - and books 3, 6, 9, and 12 resolve those conflicts. Inevitably, the first step books that follow the climax books are letdowns since they display a huge dropoff in the action.
