A member of the upcoming CBS hit show Survivor Panama is a fan of Catan. Sally Schumann, a social worker, who will be a competitor on this season's Survivor, has mentioned "The Settlers of Catan" as one of her favorite board games in her profile on CBS.com. Let's all wish this beauty from Chicago, Illinois good luck in this year's Survivor competition taking place on the islands of Panama!

Apparently more people than those who use search to see if an item has already been posted.

I've been watching faithfully since Season 2. Although there's been some really shoddy seasons, there's also been some really good ones.

In fact, Survivor is one of only three shows that I watch on TV at all: Survivor, Amazing Race, and Arrested Development (which prolly won't be around much longer, sadly). (We don't get cable, but if we did, I'd be watching Project Runway, too.)

Not sure what it is about reality shows I enjoy, but I suspect it's something to do with watching people with different backgrounds interact with one another. I enjoy watching the outcome of social experiments, which I suspect comes from my mother, being that she was a sociologist.

I stopped watching four or five seasons ago. I stopped watching when the show turned into Roshambo for grown-ups.

I've never watched any... I rarely turn on the TV before 11pm, I watch more movies than broadcast / cable. I did see a pretty funny spoof on the whole Survivor thing, they had to kill and eat each other. The film was called Run Ronnie Run. Funny stuff.

Thanks for the heads-up Nick! I'll be sure to catch it as we've had a $ pool going since the 1st show.

I love the show. I'll cheer on the Settlers girl...unless she is a real spaz.
