Hi all, about to start a new campaign as we made a critical mistake in the spawning rules. Before we begin I wanted to check in that we are reading the maps correctly.
We are playing that when tiles join each other without doors that they connect (even if they don't quite touch).
E.g. Dungeon #10 there are 4 (4*6) joined together. We play this as one big room - correct?
E.g. Dungeon #13 there is a 4*6 tile joining to a 6*6 tile then a door and a 4*4 tile. We play this as 2 rooms (one big, one small) - correct?
In the examples above I have excluded the non-big tiles to save space but hopefully I gave enough info to be clear what the question is.
It is incorrect.
There are walls around most rooms, except for the 2-space-wide places hey join corridors, or other rooms (which are not doors though you might call them doorways without doors).
So Dungeon#10, for example, has a 4 wide and 2 high cross of wall in the middle, as well as walls poking out from the sides opposite each point of the cross. Its 4 rooms connected by 4 2-wide doorways that don;t have doors in them.
Note that this is clearly marked both on the tiles, and in the quest guide, if you look carefully.
