Warlord Zen and I created a number of new Rumis boards for our game group. We've packaged a dozen of them and uploaded them under the Rumis boards on this site. Let us know what you think!

They look really nice! Now, if you have hi-res versions of the boards (so they print nicely) i can convert them to .pdf for you.

Let me know.

I'm glad you guys like them. We are working on the 2/3 player variants for each map, and we also have about 10 more maps that don't fit the theme that we should have done in a few weeks.

Wow! These look great and it is evident that you have put a lot of thought into their design.

I noticed on the Willka Wasi board that the 2 of the player aids are upside down in relation to the actual board, so you should fix that.

Thanks for sharing and I look forward to your 2 and 3 player boards.

Would it be possible for you to do the 4 stock boards in this format, so that one could have a stylisticly matching set? Maybe that would be copy right infringing

As the others have said, very nice work. So we don't go through a lot of wasted paper trying to figure out the right scale to use when printing these out, can you tell us the correct final dimensions they should be when printed?

We scaled the bitmaps so they should just print correctly, and have found that Microsoft Photo Editor works best for printing. Paint seems to want to print them on two pages. The boards when printed should be 7 1/2 inches (19cm) square. The spaces should be 5/8 of an inch (1.6cm).

I can't believe I had the key on this one inverted. Here is the corrected version of the map.

I created a PDF for easy printing. 19cm x 19cm same size as rumis original maps. It's 500KB download http://mrbass.org/boardgames/rumis

Schirf and Warlord Zen let me know if this isn't ok and I'll remove it...otherwise I'll leave it. Also if you wish for me to add in text to the PDF file or leave it as is.

I have reposted the boards as a pdf document. The document also contains the two and three player variants for each board.

I'm late to the party, but I just want to say: AWESOME! I printed them out, laminated, and then cut them to size so that they fit the circle.

We're having some great fun with these boards!

You guys rock!
This is a new game for us, but your boards add a lot more replay ability to the base game.

Thanks

I made up a new board, simple but interesting: its the opposite of the "tower" in the sense that its very big but the whole thing is only 2 segments tall, what is neat is that its the lowest a game can be and still technically be 3 dimensional! just make a ten by eight rectangle with maximum height of 2.

Also, in the "variants" section I posted a way to play without using a board at all.

Lastly when I clicked on the link i did NOT see any new boards just the homepage for rumis on boardgamegeek.com.

Fantastic, Paul! I'm printing these out now!

What program did you use to make the images? I have some ideas for my own designs... do you mind if I use your images as a template?

I'm even later to the party but I just discovered Rumis and have made myself a set of these. Played the Throne today and it seemed just as good as the official boards. Thanks to everyone who made this happen!
