Hi all, just wondering about using some other miniatures for use in some fan made scenarios, like the Dagon one I saw here. I,m leaning toward the Monpoc Lords of Cthul line of monsters as the most cost effective, and they look cool also, and come with square bases. The hyper form needs painting anyway, even if I just primed it grey, would fit decently in the game. I just have to scour ebay for some.
I,m not a lovecraft purist, so I,m not overly concerned with keeping the critters in line with the mythos. As long as it looks tentacled and otherwordly, I'm good. Have any of you used other minis, and could suggest other sources for Cthulhu oriented, tentacled creatures? (at a decent cost also)

Thanks

You should try Reaper Miniatures. They have a huge selection, though most of their stuff is a little pricey because they're pewter, they do have a few plastic miniatures in their Bones series. I'm planning on working the werewolf and spider into a future game of MoM.

Here's a link to their site with a search of the word "tentacle".
