New episode of the Board Game podcast from Reading, England.

Listen Here
http://4vp.jellycast.com/files/audio/4VP%20-%20S01E05%20-%20...

Chris MacLennan, Richard Sims and Mike Wood return to talk about civilisation builder Clash of Cultures, the beautifully crafted Tzolk'in: The Mayan Calendar and highly thematic victorian crime-solver Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective.

This week, Chris learns an important lesson about trying to record in a room which contains both Sims and an accordion.

Enjoy.

Nice.

One thing. I would really advise against house-ruling ships. I think you will find they are very powerful.

Keep in mind you could do the following:

ACTION 1) Build units
ACTION 2) Move Army to Ships, move ships to city you want to attack far accros the map.
ACTION 3) Move Army from the ship to city, move Ship back to your city to get ready for the next attack.

And in each of the two move actions you would still have a group of units left to move. So if you had ships somewhere else or landunits somewhere else, these could move also.

Ah.

Then we have misinterpreted the rules. They're mental fast.

Thank you for responding. We're very much enjoying the game and this should help us out with future conquests.
