We just finished Game 1 of this world and are getting ready to set up Game 2. We have four players and room for another, so act fast if you want to join. We tend to play pretty fast, so we would hope you can, too.

sOoo... options for comeback powers:
Convicing - You gain one extra troop in Mercenary territories.
Mobile - At the start of your turn, you may move one HQ you control to an adjacent territory you control. HQs cannot share a territory.
Resourceful - As long as you expand into a city territory, you draw a resource card, even if you didn't conquer a territory.
Stealthy - You may place some or all of your recruited troops into one unmarked, unoccupied territory. This is not an expansion.
Well-Armed - Add 1 to all of your attack dice when attacking an HQ.
Well-Supplied - When defending, you are unaffected by Ammo Shortage scars.

I'll give Enclave Mobile.

Mar, I don't understand your last post. Do you mean more than 4 (not 3) players? I think maybe you are rolling for turn order for a possible fifth player? If so, we can slot them in at position #4 if they join the war in time. (By the way, you can roll for all N players at once with Nd100 if you say the name order in the comment.)

Check out the campaign thread I made. Hopefully it makes it easy to keep track of things at a glance in another window. Anyone know how to change the thread title to add "SPOILERS"?

I'll post the new map here once everyone has picked a starting spot.

I'll ask CapnClassic to help distribute Scars (3 Mercenary, 2 Ammo), then Mar Hawkman gets first pick of faction and HQ... Bad News Bears 2?

No... I posted while Geoff was still adding turn order rolls to his post, and did the roll for Geoff's turn order while he was in the process of adding it himself. Then it turned out to be almos the same number...

You can wait til scars are assigned to make your final decision... if we can get someone to assign them. I'll make my placement based on your stated choice.

Player 2: Faction and HQ

Saharan Republic
Starting Power: When making your maneuver, you may maneuver between any two territories you control, even if they are not connected.
HQ: Eastern Australia

Hmmmm... very interesting setup. I'll update map when I get a chance. Your scars are hidden above. In the meantime, it's your turn, Hawkman.

EDIT: Here's the map. I've used pastel colors, hoping that we, together, can make a gentler and more peaceful world. First turn goes to the Enclave of the Care Bears .

Grape, just fyi but that isn't how mercenary scars work... you have to control the territory the scar is in before you can gain a troop.

Also, you seem to have jumped straight from Western Australia to SE Asia without removing a troop for Indonesia. You should have 5 in SE Asia instead of 6.

Sorry, I didn't really understand the rule, and I was rushing to post my turn before I went out for the day. Conveniently, I gave myself an extra territory and two extra armies. Inconveniently, Bryan says I need to play by the rules, so....

Place the Mercenary scar on Southeast Asia, which is still at 6.

I'll delete the erroneous map above to avoid confusion and I'll post a new one tonight.

"The Republic does not play by your rules."

Not my strong suit.

"The Imperialist's truths are low-down lies. The Republic's lies are a higher truth! Join the Republic!" (Free boots for the first 10,000 recruits.)

So, I'm sure you all noticed this already, but Balkania is very dangerous on an open board with only four players and very few cities. Right now he has unfettered access to three continents. In a few turns he'll be holding two defensible continents and a handful of cards. I mention this only because you let me get away with it last game. There's not a lot the Saharans can do about right now, because you've penned us in nicely. We will harrass on the African front, but someone else needs to do something about the Americas.

"The Republic stands for freedom!" (The Republic squats for pooping; we don't have toilets.)

Sounds like someone who already has a 2 army bonus is trying to deflect attention away from themself. Nice try but I don't think you're second win will vome that easily.
