This question is about both Civilization And/Or Advanced Civilization. I have heard that the game plays better with more players, however 99% of the time there are only 3 of us playing any game, and I want to play it. So... my question is, how would this be with 3 players? Is it horrible? Unbalanced? Or is it OK with 3, BUT - that it feels better with more people? Remember to included Advanced Civ. and which one would be better with 3 players?

Thanks!

Jim

I haven't played Adv Civ except on the PC, but three player Civ is fine. Less down time, but fewer trade opportunities.

3 players works fine in both but yeah, trading is hampered.

You might want to implement a 'no famines' house rule. Famine is brutal in a three player game. It really slows down development for everyone.
